Maddie Thoma

Maddie (she/her) is a Certified Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT) credentialed by the Academy of Cognitive Therapy (ACT). Maddie has advanced intensive training and supervision in dialectical behavioural therapy (DBT), prolonged exposure therapy, and EMDR. Other therapeutic modalities Maddie utilizes include: internal family systems (IFS), "inner child" work, and compassion focused therapy (CFT). Maddie is skilled and experienced in treating clients from early teens to older adults. She has been a recognized Faculty member of the Northern Ontario School of Medicine University (NOSM) for 10 years. Maddie primarily practices and identifies as English speaking; however is bilingual in conversational French.
Maddie has knowledge and experience working with Indigenous persons - particularly in the context of: intergenerational trauma, residential schools, and other forms of trauma. She has extensive experience treating PTSD, sexual assault and sexual abuse, and all other forms of abuse and trauma. Additionally, Maddie works regularly with individuals who experience symptoms of: Grief/Complex Grief, trauma, PTSD/CPTSD, Anxiety, Depression, and mood disorders. Maddie regularly works collaboratively with Victim Witness Assistance Program (VWAP) treating, preparing, and supporting clients for court process and testimony. Maddie is also experienced in couples counselling; healthy relationships of all kinds (including family dynamics); communication skills building; work stressors, and emotional regulation skills building.
Hailey Moulton

Hailey Moulton (she/her) is pursuing a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology and is a Qualifying Registered Psychotherapist. With a wide variety of knowledge in addressing gender-based violence, intimate partner violence, grief, trauma, and various anxiety, depressive, and personality disorders, Hailey brings significant experience to her sessions with clients. Hailey is well-versed in multiple therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Narrative Therapy, and she tailors her approach to meet the unique needs of each client. Hailey is committed to creating a safe, non-judgmental space for clients to achieve their therapeutic goals. Hailey offers both in-person sessions in Elliot Lake and virtual sessions for clients in other regions. She looks forward to providing therapeutic services to Elliot Lake and the surrounding areas.
