Collaboration for Streamlined Care
Roles & Associates Psychotherapy Services Inc. is acutely aware of the long waitlists across Northern Ontario for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) assessments for children, youth, and adults. To help bridge these systemic gaps, we are pleased to announce a partnership with The Dimensions Centre (Ottawa, Ontario) to expand access to comprehensive, interdisciplinary assessment services for individuals and families throughout the region.
Through this collaboration, clients of Roles & Associates will be able to access expert assessments virtually, as well as in person during scheduled specialized clinic dates offered at select Northern Ontario locations. Individuals who complete an assessment will also have the opportunity to receive follow-up care with our skilled therapists at Roles & Associates Psychotherapy Services Inc., ensuring seamless continuity of care.
In addition to ASD and ADHD assessments, we are pleased to jointly offer comprehensive mental health diagnostic evaluations, including differential diagnosis, prescribing (as clinically indicated), and post-assessment therapeutic care.
Neurodevelopmental Assessments
In-Person or Virtual (if appropriate)
We offer comprehensive evaluations for:
- Adult ADHD
- Child ADHD
- Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
These assessments are completed over a two- to three-day period.
ASD and ADHD assessments are often combined due to overlapping symptoms and frequent co-occurrence. When an individual is too young or already diagnosed with one condition, a single-focus assessment will be completed as appropriate.
The assessment cost includes:
- Scoring and interpretation of all assessment measures
- Review of history and documents
- Case conferencing among evaluators
- Preparation of a detailed, personalized report
All assessments include a comprehensive report delivered 4–6 weeks after completion.
Complex Differential Diagnosis
We provide detailed mental health and health assessments to differentiate between a wide range of clinical presentations, including:
- Anxiety Disorders
- Depressive Disorders
- Bipolar Disorder
- Schizophrenia Spectrum Disorders
- Borderline Personality Disorder
- Symptoms rooted in neurodivergence
- Other complex or overlapping presentations
Cost:
- Typical initial assessment: 2–4 hours at $300/hour
- Detailed Report (if required, optional and at the request of the client): $300
- Additional follow up: $265/hour
- Medication prescriptions or recommendations may be offered when suitable.

We are actively seeking funding opportunities to reduce costs for individuals who may not be able to afford these assessments.
Clients and families are encouraged to bring forward:
- Insurance benefits
- NIHB
- Community organizations or agencies able to contribute
- Any funders willing to assist with assessment fees

ADHD adult

ADHD pediatric (ages 5-17)
- 3 step process: 1. NP Initial: Review developmental/health history. Measures and at-home assessments sent after. Children 12 & under attend first 15-20 min. 2. OT: Assessment with OT focused on gross/fine motor, executive function, and sensory experiences. 3. NP Summary: Review of the assessment process and summary of findings.
ASD Only
