Carly Valiente
BA(Hons) RSW Psychotherapist
Carly Valiente (she/her) is a Registered Social Worker Psychotherapist and has been working in the field of mental health treatment since 2018. She has completed intensive training and supervision in cognitive behavioural therapy, compassion focused therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and prolonged exposure therapy for PTSD. Other therapy modalities that Carly uses include cognitive processing therapy and brainspotting therapy. Carly also has significant experience working with Indigenous populations in northern Ontario. Through working in this field, Carly has found her passion for evidence-based treatment, particularly in cognitive behavioral therapy, and for working cross-culturally with individuals of all ages. Carly operates from a client-centered and trauma-informed approach while helping support her clients.
Kelsey Weisner
MSW, RSW Psychotherapist
Kelsey (she/her) is a registered Social Worker with 10 years of experience providing treatment for mental health. She developed a passion for trauma-informed practice and children's mental health early in her career and this passion has grown to working with families as a whole, and individuals of all ages. Kelsey has extensive training and supervision in compassion focused therapy, prolonged exposure therapy, and cognitive behavioural therapy. She is a certified Cognitive Bevavioural Therapist and in the process of becoming a mindfulness and meditation teacher. Kelsey is sensitive to cultural diversity, and has experience working cross-culturally around the District of Sudbury and Manitoulin Island. She supports and guides individuals in achieving their goals by utilizing a holistic approach and evidence-based strategies. She aspires to create a safe and comfortable environment that builds hope and new ways of relating and responding to distressful feelings and experiences.
Rilie Phillips

Rilie (she/her) is a Registered Social Worker. Rilie had been working in the field of social work in areas including behavior change, homelessness, mental health, addiction, children, and families since 2016. Rilie also has experience working with Indigenous populations. Through working in this field, Rilie has found her passion for using cognitive behavioural therapy, strengths based perspectives, and working from a solution focused brief therapy approach. Rilie has a passion for working with children, and those in the LGBTQ2+ community.
Chad Lamothe
RSSW Psychotherapist
Chad Lamothe is a registered Social Service Worker Psychotherapist with Roles & Associates Psychotherapy Services Inc. Chad sees clients from children to adults who are struggling with different presentations, including anxiety, trauma, sports psychotherapy, depression, OCD, PTSD and addictions. He has training in CBT, prolonged exposure therapy, compassion focused therapy, and Brainspotting therapy. Chad is available at the Sudbury office as well as for virtual sessions.
Jamie Lynn Laronde-Duncanson
Registered Practical Nurse, Psychotherapist
Jamie (she/her) is a registered practical nurse with CBT training. Jamie has been a nurse for 10 years, working as an in-home care nurse as well as community health nurse in different Indigenous communities across Greater Sudbury, Manitoulin Island and the North Shore of Lake Huron. Jamie's therapeutic specialty is art-based therapy. She incorporates creative techniques like macrame, painting, and beading in her sessions, believing that these artistic expressions can assist in addressing her clients needs and facilitate personal growth and self-expression.
Natalie Desantis,
RN, Registered Psychotherapist (Q), Masters Student
Natalie (she/her/elle) is a bilingual Registered Nurse and Registered Psychotherapist (Q) with a background in acute care. Her years of experience in the hospital setting have heavily informed the biopsychosocial framework she employs, allowing her to gain a deep understanding of the interplay between biological, psychological, and sociopolitical factors and their impacts on mental and physical health. Natalie is trained in cognitive behavioural approaches and has a special interest in the treatment of trauma and trauma-related conditions with a focus on PTSD. She is pleased to serve you in both Sudbury and Manitoulin.
